Oil Filter Relocation

In order to retain the stock oil cooler and maximum ground clearance, I relocated the oil filter and cooler. Here is the bracket I fabricated for holding the assembly


Using a Canton oil filter adapter for the remote mount, I drilled and tapped the top of it for an oil pressure sending gauge.


Only the filter itself hangs below the frame. Since the filter is remotely mounted, using a larger 20MM oil filter was possible. This helped regain some of the oil capacity lost in shortening the oil pan.
